- Curator’s welcome & intention setting for the gathering
- Brief walkthrough of the exhibition theme: A New Language of Presence
- Prompt to guests: “What brings you here today—as a creator, as a presence?”
- Invitation to share one word or gesture in the circle
5:15 – 5:40 PM – Creative Readings
- 1–2 short readings or poems from invited guests (or curated selections)
- Live ambient music
- Eyes closed or open, guests are invited to simply listen
- Jot down thoughts during or after on reflection cards
5:40 – 6:00 PM – Behind-the-Scenes: Curating Presence
- Informal curator-led sharing on the curatorial process: intention, rhythm, artist selection
- Open Q&A from creatives: collaborative questions, process-sharing
- Prompt: “What might your own language of presence look like?”
6:00 – 6:30 PM – Creative Circles: Collaboration & Networking
- Guests split into small groups (3–5) for quiet conversations
- Each group receives a prompt (e.g., “What themes are you working through creatively right now?” or “What’s something new you’re trying?”)
- Opportunity to share resources, contacts, or future collaborations
6:30 – 6:50 PM – Collective Gesture: Memory to Mark
- Each guest contributes one jot card or word to the communal reflection wall/box
- Option to read a short note or offer a closing word
- Music returns gently to the space
6:50 – 7:00 PM – Unwind + Final Mingling
- Light snacks, final conversations
- Guests are invited to revisit the works, return for future events, and stay connected via @uwevwi
- Reflection box remains open throughout June
